I've recently started graduate studies at the University of Washington's Information School, and one of my courses is Internet Technologies and Applications. Joshua Ayson, the course instructor, is leading us information science newbies on a great adventure through cyberspace. In this week's assignment, he's asked us to create a blog, something I've had on the back burner for longer than I'd care to admit. So thanks, Joshua, for giving me the extra incentive and the opportunity to get this site up and running.
I've chosen the name Thinkorium because I want my blog to be a place for sharing thoughts and discussion on a variety of topics. I hope you'll come back as I add posts, and I hope even more that you will contribute your comments to make this site a virtual "great, good place" to read, think, discuss, and be.
Peace,
Tim
